Concave lenses overview
Concave lenses are optical elements designed to diverge light beams. Alien Photonics concave lenses are commonly used for beam expansion, divergence control, and image correction in optical systems.
PCV (Plano-Concave) lenses are typically applied to expand or shape collimated beams, DCV (Double-Concave or Bi-concave) lenses are used in imaging setups with finite conjugates. Cylindrical concave lenses diverge light in one dimension, and negative meniscus lenses help reduce aberrations in diverging configurations.
